Over the hill....

We had a sort of a reunion of the geezers. We have played basketball together for the last 17 years every Saturday. Our bodies are slowly giving out and every Saturday is not happening so we thought we'd better get a picture. I'm the one in the wife-beater jersey (as some would call it!). Troy Pond, Mel Torrie Greg ___ , and Bryan Bates. So many good times fading into more more pounds and less hair.

Singapore

I got a trip to Singapore to try and land some contracts. Landed some amazing food. Here I'm eating what they call Chili Crabs and Pepper Crabs. OH MY GOODNESS!!! Amazing!Now for the other end of the spectrum! This is the most disgusting dessert I've had in my life. I didn't see them making it (this was recommended by one of my colleagues) and it is probably good. It looked like a big slurpee in a bowl except for the corn poured on top... Corn? The slushi part tasted OK but herbal tea flavor was a little different. Then underneath was a surprise of chili beans... Beans? I ate most of the beans but it was a feat!

Shopping was crazy but kind of exciting.
I only saw this one homeless person in the whole country. He had a pretty interesting setup with a bunch of umbrellas, a mat, and a bike to call home. I'll post more on Singapore later.

When we have to shower in the morning, we can usually give her a wet toothbrush and put her in the tub and she's good for 15 minutes. She loves brushing her front four teeth!

Moving

Shad and Mitch helped move a friend who was out of commission. Bonding time! Don't know what to do with all those blessings huh Shad! Thanks Mitch

San Diego

Raeghn Flew out to San Diego with me on miles to spend two days together before I spoke at a military conference out there. We got an evening on the beach and shared some fries on the wharf and had a great session in their beautiful temple. A great little break in the midst of the storm!

Shad, Kylie, and Tia Concert

Had a fun night with Shad and kids at the South Cache Strings Concert.Shad was a little annoyed at the embarrassing dad with the camera in the front row. Reminds me of a dad I knew with the 200 Watt flash bulb camera at basketball games. You'd see a blue ball floating in the sky for at least an hour afterwards!
He has a great musical gift.

They sounded great! Brought me to tears at one part! The kids enjoyed some of the concert from the side aisle.
